My 4th year roommate at UVA (and sorority sister), Amanda, is still one of my very best friends in the world. She happens to have an uncle who lives in CO and has a great ski condo in Winter Park. She also happened to be spending Christmas with that uncle this year! So a great early Christmas present for me was driving out to see her and her family before I left for TN.
Since she has a 1 year old son, we let her husband ski for the day, while we stayed in and looked at this amazing view.
And played with this adorable kid...
And then ventured out to meet all the skiers for lunch, including her sister, Jane, who used to visit all the time from JMU.
And since selfies are the #1 thing from 2013, here is one of us on the gondola.
