The longer I live here, the longer my list grows.
I've heard about "The Incline" - a supposed staircase up a mountain - since I got here but have never been.
I have a friend at school, Bonnae, who is my perfect match for adventure. She is up for anything, anytime, and was happy to accompany me on this challenge.
We weren't sure what it was going to be like in the winter, but we brought ice spikes for our shoes.
It was BEAUTIFUL!
It was a mile up a mountain, gaining 2000 vertical feet.
It took us about an hour and a half.
At the end we treated ourselves to yummy Mexican in the cute mountain town of Manitou Springs, near CO Springs.
Such a great reason to get out of the house in winter!!
