Andermatt Glacier Climbing

I think pictures will speak better (louder?) than words for this one. I'll keep my words brief.
We have 1 day off between sessions. I went with 2 other staff members to Andermatt, Switzerland to hike a glacier and ice climb down some crevasses.

These are some pictures from the car on the drive there.

This is the parking lot where you start.

And this is what greets you behind that building.

We hiked up the glacier with our crampons on our shoes.

And found a crevass to hook up our ropes and ice climb.

I am scared of heights so this was HUGE for me...scary, thrilling, cool....but I was also very excited to get back up and be done!

A incredible experience and an incredible day.
